Cyanotype Workshop…

This was a Cyanotype printing workshop I taught to school leavers which was organised with Learning Links and The Purple Door. The day was ideal for exposure, in some ways too ideal as the exposure times were only a few minutes as opposed to about 20-30; this could be partly due to the recipe I have perfected over the years which allows for better absorbency, coverage and exposure time. Anyway as this was only a four hour session the paper was pre-coated but the students were still informed about the chemistry involved in the process and its significance throughout history both within science and the arts.
